Wat Buddha Dhamma is a Buddhist Monastery in the Ajahn Chah tradition devoted to the training of monks, nuns and lay practitioners. People are very welcome to visit or to stay to deepen their meditation practice and their understanding of Buddhist teachings.
Nestled within the Dharug National Park, the Wat’s 90 hectares are virtually indistinguishable from the beautiful bushland that surrounds it. It is a centre for the development and practice of skilful living, calm and insight, and for loving-kindness.
The purpose of this blog is to allow friends and supporters of the Wat to keep in touch with happenings at the Wat – to provide reports of recent events and give information about upcoming events, like celebrations of Holy Days, meditation retreats and Muscles and Merits Weekends.
The blog is also where you can find out when senior monks or nuns from overseas might drop in for a visit, when the resident senior monk is travelling and any changes to the resident community.
To contact Wat Buddha Dhamma please telephone 02 4323 3193 or email office@wbd.org.au.
